We welcome your support for our work! Here are some ways you could help us:
–Spreading the word – please “like” and share our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/daysforgirlsecuador), tell friends and neighbours about our work, encourage people to visit our local booths.
–Donations – there are various items that the sewists would be very grateful to receive at this start-up stage, especially:
-fabric donations (especially dark, patterned cotton flannel)
-strong sewing machine needles or other sewing supplies, e.g. thread, sharp scissors
-monetary donations through our Paypal account are of course always very appreciated:
Please contact info@daysforgirlsecuador.com if you have any other donations to offer.
–Bringing supplies – fabric choices here in Ecuador can be quite limited. Anytime you are coming here from another country, especially North America, please consider bringing a small amount of specially selected fabrics with you to enrich our supplies. Contact info@daysforgirlsecuador.com for more information.
–Join our Newsletter list – you can subscribe using the sign-up box on the homepage at http://www.DaysForGirlsEcuador.com to receive updates about our work and outreach.
Although Days for Girls is an international charity that has been working in locations around the globe for a decade already, so far there has not been very much activity in Latin America. We’re proud to be leading the way here in our little valley in the Andes and we welcome your support in this endeavour!
